Favorite Scripture Passage: Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Words to Live by: Micah 6:8 “He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

What most people don’t know about you: I used to play ice hockey until I started
breaking things (like hands and knees!).
Who has inspired you most in life and why: Undoubtedly my wife, Sarah. She is the most dedicated, kind, and loving person I know. She amazes and humbles me in every way.

Books currently by the bed: Martin Marty’s biography of Martin Luther, Dick Staub’s The Culturally Savvy Christian: A Manifesto for Deepening Faith and Enriching Popular Culture in an Age of Christianity-Lite, Anne Lamott’s Grace Eventually, Phyllis Tickle’s The Night Offices, Leonard Sweet’s Post-Modern Pilgrim
Favorite movie: Movies? I have a toddler, what are these things you call ‘movies’? I love comedies, documentaries and anything by the Coen Brothers.
Dream vacation: A trip to explore Asia or South America with Sarah!
What do you aspire your ministry area to do: To become a comprehensive music, worship and arts ministry that enables people to worship God and deepen their discipleship of Jesus by using the God-given gift of creativity.
